The remains of Mexican singer Jenni Rivera, who died in a plane crash has been identified. It was identified through a swab sample taken from her brother and tested with the DNA of remains found on the crash site.
According to Mexican authorities, Jenni’s plane nosedived from 28,000 feet and crashed in a mountainous area 9000 feet below sea level. The remains of the co-pilot and Jenni’s publicist has also been identified.
Meanwhile, two Mexican cops have been arrested for stealing items from the crash site. According to Mexican officials, one of them is suspected of leaking crash scene photos to the media – photos of body parts and personal documents. The cops are 23 and 24 years old.
