Ke$ha has apologized for the Die Young song, saying that she never wanted to sing it in the first place, but was ‘forced’ to. This is a response to reports making the rounds that her song has been pulled from the airwaves due to its lyrical content and the Newtown shooting, and angry reactions to her use of satanic symbols with reckless abandon in the video.
The apology-admission, which was posted on Twitter, has since been deleted. But here is the screenshot:

Now her claim that she was forced to sing the song is somehow shockingly surprising, because she was listed as one of its writers. Or is she trying to tell us that her name was ‘forcefully’ included in the list of writers?
