Former US President George H.W Bush, earlier placed on intensive care a week ago was yesterday moved into the regular patient room after an improvement in his condition, so says his spokesman.
‘President Bush’s condition has improved, so he has been moved today from the intensive care unit to a regular patient room at The Methodist Hospital to continue his recovery,’ family spokesman Jim McGrath said on Saturday. ‘The Bushes thank everyone for their prayers and good wishes.’
He also added that he is in high spirits, so high that he is even singing.
George Bush Snr has been in the hospital since November 23 after a bronchits-like cough developed a fever that was serious enough to send him to the ICU.
Thank God you are outta there Prez!
