Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was yesterday hospitalized after a blood clot was discovered by doctors during a follow-up examination over the concussion she suffered earlier this month.
This was revealed by her spokesman Philip Reines, who did not specify where the clot was found (we think it is in the head region). He however, said that Hillary will be treated with anticoagulants and will remain at the New York Presbyterian Hospital for at least 48 hours so that doctors can monitor the medication.
‘Her doctors will continue to assess her condition, including other issues associated with her concussion. They will determine if any further action is required,’ Reines said in a statement.
