Terminator 2 star Edward has just been fired for the second time from another film over his latest domestic violence arrest. Reason behind the sack: the producers are tired of him.
In a letter fired off to Edward’s reps, the producers of film Other Plans stated that they have had enough of his arrests so his contract has been terminated with immediate effect.
The sack letter, signed by producer Joe Eckhardt, reads:
RE: Termination of Edward Furlong/Other Plans Agreement
Dear Tanya, Courtney and Mark,
Edward’s criminal legal issues over the past four months have directly caused our production damages to its schedule and budget. Given Edwards current status as being in jail awaiting arraignment on two charges of criminal domestic violence, and a probation violation hearing on 2/15/13, we are no longer able to engage his services for the film as per our agreement.
Let this letter serve as our notification to you that the agreement between Claire Films, LLC and Edward Furlong/Dark and Stormy Night Productions, Inc dated as of October 5th, 2012 with regard to the production of the theatrical feature motion picture titled Other Plans is hereby terminated.
Claire Films, LLC has no further obligations to Edward Furlong/Dark and Stormy Night Productions, Inc under our agreement.
As we told you earlier, Eddie was arrested on Sunday for bruising up his girlfriend for the third time in three months. He has pleaded not guilty and is still in custody.
This is the second time he has been fired over domestic violence problems – the first was in November when he was booted by producers of the film Misled.
