We knew it right from the beginning, but now many important people are saying the same thing about Rihanna: She is a bad, bad role model for girls.
First, it was award-winning Girls creator Lena Dunham who called Rihanna out and labelled her a bad role model for women. But after she showed up in court Wednesday in support of Chris Brown, who was accused of cheating his way through the community service he was sentenced for beating her to pulp – even blowing him a kiss in the full glare of journalists – another important woman got pissed … and is now calling her a ‘big, fat ZERO’ role model!
The pissed woman is the editor-in-chief of Daily Beast and Newsweek, Tina Brown:
.@rihanna, you are a big fat zero as a role model for girls
— Tina Brown (@TinaBrownLM) February 7, 2013
Rihanna should have kept herself out of the public eye as far as this case is concerned – but she decided against that. We wonder what she was thinking she would achieve by her presence in court – putting up a show to make the judge spare Chris?
Anyway, before you start bashing Tina, Rihanna had said herself sometime ago that she is not sure if she is a role model for anybody. Tina just confirmed to her that she isn’t.
