Law enforcement sources told CBS that a body believed to be that of Dorner has been pulled out of the burnt cabin.
Ex-LAPD cop turned fugitive Christopher Jordan Dorner has been found in the hills of Big Bear, and is currently in an intense gun battle with police.
Riverside County sheriff’s department say that deputies responded to a distressed call about a stolen vehicle around 12:00 pm. The caller said that he saw someone like Dorner stealing the white pick-up
‘The suspect fled into the forest and barricaded himself inside a cabin,’ said Jodi Miller of the sheriff’s department. ‘A short time later there was an exchange of gunfire between law enforcement and the suspect.’

Two cops have been wounded, and one of them has died from his injuries.
‘Everyone is hopeful that everything ends with no more blood shed,’ LAPD Commander Andrew Smith said at an afternoon conference. ‘The best thing for him now is to surrender so we can take him into custody. Until he is handcuffed none of the people in our department are going to rest. Enough is enough. It is time to turn yourself in and stop the bloodshed.’
the LAPD SWAT Team and two helicopters are currently on the scene, and flight restrictions have been put into effect around Big Bear.
