Kim Kardashian this week lashed out at her pregnancy fashion ‘haters’, and from the excuse she gave, it is highly unlikely that she will EVER change her style.
Writing on her blog about that leather pencil skirt which squashed her baby bump, she said:
‘… I felt so good in this look. So me! But then I saw some comments that were so critical! It’s funny because Kourtney warned me that when I get pregnant people’s opinions will be on an all time high and everyone will chime in! So I now see what she means.’
‘I saw some comments that the skirt is too tight for the pregnancy and that’s ridiculous! I bought this skirt a few sizes bigger and there is plenty of room.’
LOL … plenty of room?
Well, in another laughable excuse, Kim, who is almost 5 months pregnant, bragged that she has many ‘custom fit’ dresses for her ‘growing body’:
‘For any concern that my clothes are too tight, I have so many pieces custom fit for my growing body! They make pregnancy Spanx which are tight. So this theory sounds ridiculous!’
And to confirm what we have been saying since, she admitted being a high heels addict who loves and feels ‘chic’ wearing tight clothes:
‘I feel my best when I am in heels and chic clothes! Happy mommy, happy baby! Xo’
FYI: Wearing tight clothes and high heels is an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS combination for a pregnant woman, ‘cos anything can happen anytime and she may trip and fall with potentially serious consequences. This was echoed by a pregnant commenter at RadarOnline and we got to quote her ‘cos she said important things:
‘This girl must be smoking something because I just cannot believe one word that comes out of her mouth. Feel your best in an outfit that includes spanx?? I call bullshit. Those are tight and I assure you, cannot be comfortable to wear!!
I’m 35 weeks pregnant and at no point in my pregnancy have I thought of wearing ANY type of shape wear, leather pencil skirts, or anything that just didn’t look or feel comfortable, OR was too tight! I was able to fit into my jeans until I was roughly 5 months and I couldn’t wait to get them off. I was in my twin brother’s wedding and obviously had to wear a dress (that actually complimented my growing bump!) and heels. As soon as I could get those shoes off, they were gone. Even as small as her bump is, your center of gravity is already off; your back arches to accommodate the growing weight in your front, you get clumsy, and begin to walk differently. Wait until she falls in those heels. It’s incredibly selfish to worry about how “chic” you look in heels when the possibility of falling and harming the fetus is a definite risk.
Maternity clothes are available for purchase for a reason and there are really nice clothes out there that compliment your changing body; I’m sure there are even nicer ones out there for as much money as she has!
She would look better in anything not as constricting as the crap she’s been wearing (who lets her walk out of the house like that??!!). Jessica Simpson looks so much better wearing sweats than she does in any designer outfit “a few sizes bigger.” What a jackass.’
