Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has been arrested Tuesday for heroin possession and for assaulting her husband Courtland Rogers.
Police said that 12 ‘bindles’ (small paper wraps for drugs) of heroin were found on her when they came to her home in response to a report of domestic violence. Cops also found a wrapping paper, smoking pipe and Percocet (a frequently-abused pain killer) without prescription on her.
Her husband was also arrested for heroin possession with intent to manufacture, distribute and sell. Drug paraphernalia was also found on him.
Aside from the heroin, Jenelle, 21, is accused of hitting her husband with a piece of furniture, while he too was accused of assaulting her by ‘hitting her on the neck and striking her with a closed fist on her head.’ She was also served with a warrant for not paying child support.
A source told RadarOnline that the drugs belong to Courtland and that Jenelle was ‘set up’. ‘With them living together anything found in the common areas of the house leaves all residents accountable,’ the source said.
She has been released from jail and is currently facing criminal charges for simple assault, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute and simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
