Rehab is all about kicking bad habits, but for Lindsay Lohan, it is the other way round – safeguarding them. The troubled star has less than 24 hours to check into Seafield Center in New York to begin her court-ordered 90-day lockdown rehab, but she is now making frantic arrangements to bail on the center because they won’t let her smoke cigarettes.
Says her father Michael Lohan:
‘It is come to my attention that Lindsay does not want to go to Seafield in New York because it’s not private enough, they don’t allow smoking and the accommodations are not suitable to her needs.
‘She told me people want her to go to Morningside in Newport Beach, California. But that’s very place that leaked she was going there about a year ago and did the same this time.’
Morningside Recovery was the same center Lindsay rehabbed for a short time in 2010 and according to her father, the center is willing to let her smoke ‘even though they have a no smoking policy.’ Because of this, Michael Lohan feels Morningside won’t help his daughter, saying, ‘This is the last straw and I’m going to do everything I possibly can to put them everyone out of the business of using people.’
Her family is now making last ditch efforts to persuade the Los Angeles and Santa Monica City Attorneys to sign off on Lukens Institute in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
