Michael Jackson has been dead 4 years – but even that has not prevented him from being sued for child abuse!
This latest shocking claim was made by 30-year old choreographer Wade Robson, who filed legal documents on Monday demanding money from the Michael Jackson Estate as compensation for sexually abusing him as a child.
The compliant, which was filed under seal (meaning it is not available to the public) specifically outlines the alleged abuse, reports TMZ. It also mentions the name of the psychiatrist who treated Wade – a specialist in child psychology.
The bizarre thing is that the same Wade Robson was the first to testify and defend Michael Jackson during the 2005 molestation trial, saying under oath that he was never molested during his stay at the superstar’s house (Wade met Michael when he was 5 years old and was sleeping over at his Neverland Ranch and houses at LA and Las Vegas at 7, which continued till when he was 14.) and as for the reason why he waited so long to file the complaint, Wade claims he suffered from ‘repressed memory.’
However, the new claim has been discredited by both MJ’s lawyer during the 2005 molestation trial Tom Mesereau and that of the MJ Estate Howard Weitzman. Mesereau told TMZ that the whole thing is all about money:
‘Mesereau says Robson was strong and unwavering in his testimony — adamant that Jackson never touched him. Tom says Robson never cracked during intense cross-examination.
Mesereau tells us, “Michael never touched Robson inappropriately in any way.”
And Mesereau scoffs at any notion that Robson suffered from repressed memory and is only coming forward now.’
And as for Weitzman, he dismissed the claim as ‘outrageous and pathetic’. Said he:
‘Mr. Robson’s claim is outrageous and pathetic. This is a young man who has testified at least twice under oath over the past 20 years and said in numerous interviews that Michael Jackson never did anything inappropriate to him or with him.
‘Now, nearly 4 years after Michael has passed, this sad and less than credible claim has been made.
‘We are confident that the court will see this for what it is.’
