Miley Cyrus did not sing about using Molly (ecstasy) in her new single called We Can’t Stop, so claims the producer of the track.
The former Hannah Montana star’s new single is causing controversy because of the lyrical content, especially at the point where she appeared to be singing, ‘We like to party/ Dancing with Molly/ Doing whatever we want.’
For those who don’t know, ‘molly’ – a slang for the drug mixture Ecstasy – is a dangerous combination which can cause users to be light-headed and vulnerable together with unconsciousness and brain damage.
Back to the story: A rep for the song’s producer Mike WiLL Made It told TMZ that the lyrics of the song was highly misunderstood (the same thing Rick Ross said) and that what Miley was actually singing was ‘Dancing With MILEY’.
OK … but what about the lyric where she said ‘Everyone in line in the bathroom/Tryin’ get in line in the bathroom …’? Wasn’t she making reference to cocaine or some other drug like heroin?
Miley’s producer had no answer for that.
