Paris Jackson made a shocking revelation in her deposition on the Michael Jackson wrongful death lawsuit against AEG, where she said that her former nanny was ‘obsessed’ with her father, pretended to be his wife and even sneaked into his bed while he was asleep.
In the deposition which was played in court on Tuesday, Paris – still in hospital after her June 5 attempted suicide – told the lawyers that her dad did not like their former nanny Grace Rwaramba. ‘My dad didn’t like her so he tried to keep her away from us,’ Paris said in the video, recorded on March 21. ‘He would send her to run errands a lot… He said she was sneaky, she was not an honest person and she lied a lot.’
When asked why MJ didn’t fire her, she said, ‘He felt bad. She didn’t really have a lot of money.’
Paris then went further to recount a particular incident her dad told her and the other siblings Prince and Blanket:
‘She used to be (one of the nannies) but she got really creepy. This is going to freak you out. One time, it was before — me and my brother were really young — before Blanket was born.
‘When he would stay in a hotel, or whatever, she would call the hotel and say that she was his wife. She was obsessed with him… They let her in and he’d wake up and she would be in his bed.’
The lawyer questioning her was taken aback by the revelation, and Paris did not miss the expression on his face. ‘I saw your expression. You are like, what? That is what he told us and it is kind of creepy,’ she said.
This paints a whole different portrait to how Rwaramba – a Ugandan native – was viewed: She was reportedly the most important woman in MJ’ kids’ life and was so close to him that at a point, rumors of a possible marriage surfaced around the world.
Well, guess we now know the reason why.
