Former voice of Elmo Kevin Clash has scored a huge victory in court, for all the charges against him for sexually molesting three underage boys have been thrown out.
In a ruling, a federal judge in New York dismissed the accusations filed by Cecil Singleton, Kevin Kiadii and another unnamed person – who accused the star of sexually assaulting them when they were minors – saying that they waited too long to file the lawsuits.
As we reported, Cecil – now 24 – sued Clash last year for sexually assaulting him when he was 15 years old. But the judge ruled that the statutes of limitations to sue expired 3 years after they turned 18 … which means they filed their accusations too late.
Clash had resigned from his job at Sesame Street over the allegations, insisting that the sexual encounters were consensual, and the men were not minors at that time.
