50 cent has denied kicking his baby mama after an altercation in her house on June 23.
The rapper spoke out through his attorney Scott Leemon, who released a media statement on Thursday denying any wrongdoing.
The statement reads:
‘Curtis Jackson denies these allegations as made against him. It is important to note, Mr. Jackson has not been arrested and there is no warrant outstanding for his arrest.
We have been in contact with the LA City Attorney’s Office and are currently conducting our own investigation into these allegations.
Out of respect for the legal process, we will not be commenting any further at this time.’
As ENTmania! previously reported, 50 Cent – real name Curtis Jackson – was charged with domestic violence and vandalism after kicking his second baby mama Daphne Joy and destroying household items worth $7100. He will be arraigned on July 22 and faces up to 5 years behind bars if convicted.
