Amanda Bynes’ parents Rick and Lynn Bynes have officially filed documents requesting temporary conservatorship of their troubled, schizophrenic daughter, currently under 5150 hold.
The documents were filed under seal on Thursday at Ventura County Superior Courthouse in Oxnard, California. Her parents have also hired Tamar Arminak and Patrick Reider to help them in their bid to become their daughter’s conservator.
The conservatorship, if granted, will empower Amanda’s parents to control certain aspects of her life, which can also involve controlling her finances.
The court hearing has been scheduled to hold on Friday – and proceedings will be closed from the public.
