Actress Lisa Robin Kelly – who played Eric Foreman’s elder sister on That ’70s Show’ has passed away. She was 43.
Kelly died in her sleep in a California rehab facility on Wednesday night, two days after she checked herself in for alcohol problems.
According to sources, Kelly has been in and out of rehab several times in an effort to kick her alcohol problem, and her recent relapse was due to a heated dispute with her ex-husband Robert Gilliam over money from her show. Robert reportedly beat her in May to obtain the money, was arrested for domestic battery and sentenced to 35 days in jail and 3 years probation.
Her boyfriend was the one who brought her into rehab on Monday and two days later she was found dead. There was reportedly nothing anyone could have done to save her.
The star has been arrested 4 times in 3 years for DUI, spousal abuse and battery. The cause of her death is not yet known, but there are reportedly no signs of trauma, drugs or alcohol in her system.
