Just like no one knows why The Bachelor star Gia Allemand hanged herself last week Monday or what caused the death of Lisa Robin Kelly in rehab, the cause of the recent suicide by Disney star Lee Thompson Young is unknown.
Cops have revealed that the 29-year old did not leave any suicide note before killing himself, and his diary entries does not paint any picture of a troubled or suicidal person. Besides, many of his friends and associates have confirmed that he did not appear to have any serious life issues.
Meanwhile, the executive producer of the TNT show Rizzoli & Isles – where Young was working prior to his death – has released a statement. ‘Everyone at [the show] is devastated by the news of the passing of Lee Thompson Young,’ she said. ‘We are beyond heartbroken at the loss of this sweet, gentle, good-hearted, intelligent man. He was truly a member of our family. Lee will be cherished and remembered by all who knew and loved him, both on- and offscreen, for his positive energy, infectious smile and soulful grace. We send our deepest condolences and thoughts to his family, to his friends and, most especially, to his beloved mother.’
Lee Thompson Young was found dead today by his landlord in his L.A. apartment by a gunshot wound police determined was self-inflicted. He was last seen on Saturday.
