Hollywood legend Jack Nicholson has supposedly retired from acting due to ‘memory loss’ that has rendered him incapable of remembering ‘lines being asked of him’, claims a report by Radar Online on Wednesday.
According to the webloid, a ‘well-placed Hollywood film insider’ said that ‘Jack has — without fanfare — retired’, claiming, ‘There is a simple reason behind his decision — it’s memory loss’ and because of that, he ‘has no plans to appear in films again.’
However, the report has been proven so false that not only is the 74-year old Oscar winner not retiring from acting, he is even working on another acting project.
NBC News correspondent Maria Shriver has officially dismissed the rumor, telling E! News that the Chinatown star is not suffering from any memory-related illness or dementia and has no current plans to retire.
So much for ‘exclusive’ reporting.
