Jimmy Kimmel promised to air Kanye West’s Twitter outburst … and he delivered merely hours after the epic rant ended on Thursday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The comedian revealed that the whole online fracas began after he received ‘a very angry phone call’ from the rapper, who demanded from him a public apology for spoofing his BBC Radio 1 interview in a video sketch that aired last week.
‘He told me I had two choices – #1 Apologize publicly,’ Jimmy told the audience. ‘And that was really the only choice.’
When Kanye didn’t get the apology he wanted, he then opted to tear Jimmy apart on Twitter, calling him a ‘manipulative media motherf****’ and a ‘no good p*****’.
But the insults didn’t stop Kimmel from mocking Kanye again by reading out each of his tweets and joking about each one.
At the end of everything, Jimmy declared, ‘Finally, I’m in a rap feud … I always wanted to be in a rap feud. Right now we’re at DefKanye Five.’
