It has been revealed that Teen Mom disaster Farrah Abraham made only $10,000 from her so-called ‘sex tape’ … which is nowhere near the $1.5 million she claimed.
FOX 411 conducted an investigation and found out from the porn deal brokers that celebs who decide to make sex tapes only get $10,000 for their troubles. And Farrah is no exception.
According to Kevin Blatt, who has personally brokered celebrity sex tape deals, Tami ‘Pippin Longstocking’ Erin got the same offer from Vivid.
‘Tami Erin was offered $10K up front which is standard for Vivid,’ Blatt told FOX 411, adding, ‘It is what they offer every celebrity, not a million dollars.’
Another insider backed up Blatt’s claim, adding, ‘In reality she (Abraham) got $10,000 upfront and 30 percent of sales, minus the cost of production. The entire celebrity sex video genre is a lot of unsubstantiated marketing with very little truth behind it…. It’s all publicity. It’s all hype.’
According to the contract, Abraham is entitled to 30 percent of all sales, but according to Jasmine Waltz – who made and released a sex tape called Real Jasmine in 2011 with Vivid – Abraham should not even think about getting any more penny.
‘Vivid told me they would give $125,000 and 25 percent of the back end, all the sales that are made. Basically, you’ll never see the back end after advertisement. You won’t get the money. It’s a very untrustworthy business,’ Waltz told FOX. ‘Lawrence Fishburne’s daughter got burned really, really bad. She got $60,000 dollars and never saw another penny.’
Farrah declined to comment when contacted by FOX.
