The Jackson Family has lost the lawsuit it filed against AEG over the death of Michael Jackson.
Katherine Jackson and Michael’s kids had filed the $10 billion lawsuit against the concert promoters, accusing them of negligently hiring Dr. Conrad Murray – the now-jailed doctor who overdosed the King of Pop to death with Propofol in 2009.
But in a jury verdict on Tuesday, it was concluded that AEG did indeed hire Conrad Murray to cater for Jackson, but he wasn’t incompetent as a doctor at that time he was hired by the company.
Commenting on the verdict, Katherine said, ‘We have said from the beginning that this case was a search for the truth. We found the truth. AEG hired Dr. Conrad Murray, the man who is in jail for killing Michael Jackson.
‘AEG has denied for years, and continues to deny, that they hired Dr. Conrad Murray. The jury found unanimously that AEG hired Dr. Murray.’
