Chris Brown on Monday got his criminal charge for felony assault reduced to a misdemeanor … thanks to conflicting reports from the parties involved in the fight.
As we previously reported, Chris Brown was arrested on Sunday morning after he allegedly punched a guy in the face when the latter attempted to join him for a photo. According to the victim, Chris threw the first punch … but Chris’s side insists that the victim tried to force his way into his tour bus and he was dealt with by the bodyguard and NOT the singer.
There were also reports that Chris Brown used a gay slur during the fight, but sources close to him say that Chris did not say anything to the victim, talk more of uttering any gay remark.
Anyway, this is not even the main problem for Chris because this incident has reopened an investigation to determine if he violated his probation in the Rihanna beating case. The LA Probation Department has begun the investigation and if found wanting, it will REVOKE it and Chris will go to jail for 4 years.
Chris was released on Monday after a court hearing without bail.
