Teen Mom star Amber Portwood became a free woman again on Monday.
Portwood, 24, was released from a prison in Indiana after serving 17 months out of the initial 5 years she was sentenced to for violating her probation for drug possession.
The judge had given Portwood another choice of going to a drug rehab program instead of 5 years in the slammer during her trial, but she chose the jail option instead.
Her early release was due to good behavior, time served and the fact that she completed two unspecified prison courses while serving her sentence.
Now that she is out, Portwood will be on parole and be subjected to random testing.
