Mark Wahlberg lashed out at actors like Tom Cruise who think acting is as hard as fighting in a war.
The actor was directly or indirectly responding to Tom Cruise’s claim in the deposition over his $50 million libel suit against In Touch and Life & Style publishers that his job as an actor is as hard as fighting in Afghanistan … although he later did a u-turn.
But Wahlberg, when asked about his training for his upcoming Navy SEAL movie, Lone Survivor at the AFI Festival on Tuesday, replied, ‘I don’t give a f*** what you did, you don’t do what these guys do.’
‘If you sit there and say, “My job is as difficult as someone in the military,” how f***in’ dare you! While you sit in a makeup chair for two hours,’ continued the actor. ‘I don’t give a sh*t if you’re getting your ass busted, you get to go home at the end of the day. You get to go to your hotel room, and you get to order your f***in’ chicken.’
