The Michael Jackson Estate is tired of Conrad Murray’s media claims about Michael Jackson … and has fired off a cease-and-desist letter to the convicted doctor, warning him to either stop talking about the late pop star or be sued.
The Jackson family has been pissed with Murray for claiming in a recent interview with Daily Mail that he used to hold up MJ’s penis to fit catheters and help him wear condoms because he was ‘incontinent’.
‘Your recent comments to the media about Mr. Jackson’s medical treatment and ultimate death shamefully violate the physician-patient privilege under California law, wrote the estate’s attorney Howard Weitzman in the November 26 dated letter. ‘Your interviews about Mr. Jackson’s personal life, health, and recent stories about the medical treatment you supposedly provided him as a ‘friend,’ disclose precisely the type of information that the physician-patient privilege is designed to protect.’
Weitzman also called Murray a ‘shameful coward’ for using the media to defend himself instead of testifying in court during his manslaughter trial.
He not only threatened Murray with a lawsuit if he continues talking, he also promised to make his bid for medical license reinstatement impossible by telling authorities that he breached the physician-patient confidentiality privilege.
