Demi Lovato has responded to the tell-all essay written by Joe Jonas, where he opened up about dating the singer before she went into rehab and his smoking weed for the first time with her and Miley Cyrus.
In the essay, Joe had claimed, ‘The first time I smoked weed was with Demi and Miley. I must have been 17 or 18. They kept saying, “Try it! Try it!” so I gave it a shot, and it was all right.’
He also wrote about Demi’s ‘insane’ struggle with drug addiction at the time they dated in 2010, and how he wanted so much to help her but couldn’t because ‘at the same time I was living a lie’.
On Monday night, Demi responded by tweeting, ‘@joejonas love you brother. #family/friendsforever.’
But her older sister Dallas was not happy with Joe, slamming him instead by tweeting, Pathetic how people cut others down to get attention off themselves.. Loser.’
More importantly, Demi has moved on.
