Carrie Underwood has responded to the critics blasting her acting skills in NBC’s live telecast of the iconic movie Sound of Music on Thursday.
As we previously reported, some celebrities, including original Sound of Music star Kym Karath dissed Underwood’s acting, with Karath tweeting, that some of the scenes were ‘actually painful to watch.’
But on Friday night, Underwood tweeted in reply to the critics, ‘Plain and simple: Mean people need Jesus. They will be in my prayers tonight… 1 Peter 2:1-25.’
A fitting response, right?
