The actor made the announcement on Facebook Sunday night while sharing a photo (below) of the last scene he shot with Paul Walker before his death in a ghastly car accident.
‘There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we’ve come…,’ wrote Diesel, adding that he decided to share the news on social media instead of a Universal press release because ‘He’d want you to know first…’
As we previously reported, production of the movie was shut down indefinitely after Walker’s death but the movie director later assured fans that the movie will be completed.
Fast & Furious 7 was originally scheduled to be released in July 2014.
