Joan Rivers still has issues with Jennifer Lawrence over the latter’s comments against her Fashion Police show.
As we reported last month, Lawrence had criticized Fashion Police for encouraging the celebrity culture of superficiality and body shaming, and Rivers had slammed her as ‘arrogant’, even going as far as mocking her epic fall at the Oscars.
But Rivers wasn’t done yet with the The Hunger Games star, as she called her out again in a recent interview with The New York Post.
‘My New Year’s resolution is [ensuring] Jennifer Lawrence grows up and realizes how lucky she is and calms down,’ Rivers tells the newspaper. ‘I love that she’s telling everyone how wrong it is to worry about retouching and body image, and meanwhile, she has been touched up more than a choir boy at the Vatican.’
‘Look at her posters. She doesn’t have a nose, she has two holes. She just has to learn, don’t talk if you’re doing it,’ she continues.
‘She’s an amazing actress, she’s the next Meryl Streep,’ she adds, however.
