GLAAD is not happy that A&E lifted the suspension of Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson after just seven days, accusing the network of choosing ‘profits’ over the homosexuals.
In a statement released shortly after A&E announced that Phil will resume filming with other Duck Dynasty stars this spring, GLAAD said:
Phil Robertson should look African American and gay people in the eyes and hear about the hurtful impact of praising Jim Crow laws and comparing gay people to terrorists. If dialogue with Phil is not part of next steps then A+E has chosen profits over African American and gay people – especially its employees and viewers.
Seems someone is butt hurt real bad.
It is worthy to note that Phil Robertson lost absolutely nothing due to the suspension … all his big sponsors and business associates expressed their support for him.
