Shia LaBeouf apparently doesn’t give a crap about receiving legal cease-and-desist letters for plagiarism, ‘cos soon after he was served one by cartoonist Daniel Clowes’ lawyer, he posted it online for all to see.
The Transformers actor was served the letter on Tuesday, and in it Clowes’ lawyer is demanding that he take down his January 7 tweet which plagiarized – again – Clowes’ work.
‘Storyboard for my next short ‘Daniel Boring’ its like Fassbinder meets half-baked Nabokov on Gilligan’s Island,’ reads LaBeouf’s January 7 tweet, accompanied by a photo of Clowes’ comic David Boring.
Bizarrely, after LaBeouf posted the letter on Tuesday night, he deleted it, and then reposted it again on Wednesday.
Not sure what is going on here, but borrowing Clowes’ lawyer’s words, Shia LaBeouf ‘is seriously out of control.’
