Lindsay Lohan tweeted that her computer was stolen from an airport in Shanghai, China on Tuesday, but it was not her that sent the tweets, according to a new report.
According to RadarOnline, Lindsay Lohan’s tweets were actually sent by the thieves, who were able to log into the actress’ Twitter account.
According to the gossip site’s insider, the thieves sent the tweets as an ‘extortion’ message to Lohan, and have since demanded money in exchange for the safe return of the laptop.
Lohan’s team are also reportedly trying to remotely wipe the laptop clean of the naked photos of the actress and private correspondence it contains, but so far they are unsuccessful.
Lindsay was in China to receive a Sohu Fashion Achievement Award.
