The Transformers actor, who has been behaving bizarrely as of recent, posted on Twitter Saturday two long statements (below) where he explained, ‘Performance art has been a way of appealing directly to a large public, as well as shocking audiences into reassessing their own notions of art and its relation to culture.’
He claims his plagiarism scandal has started a ‘broad cultural discussion that needs to be had about plagiarism in the digital age & celebrity/social media absurdity,’ and for that, he takes the credit.
Then he goes on to ramble about how ‘all art is either plagarisum (sic) or revolution’ as well as posting a long list of ‘Performance a#RT’ crap.
In conclusion, LaBeouf writes, ‘#StopHeadButting.’
And check your head, if we might add.
