A jury on Monday couldn’t help laughing after hearing prosecutors describe how a man standing trial for allegedly having sex with a sheep was first rejected by a cow.
According to local reports, last September 61-year old Paul Lovell was spotted by a couple having a picnic trying to seduce a cow at a Tottenham Hotspur training ground in north London. According to prosecutors, Lovell – who was reportedly 250 yards from the couple – was ‘laying on the floor, taking his shorts off’ before attempting the sex act.
When the cow rejected his advances, Lovell then reportedly decided to ‘try his luck with some sheep’ … and at this point the jury burst into laughter. The judge, however, was not amused and reprimanded the jurors for laughing.
Lack of evidence prompted prosecutors to drop the indecent exposure charge against Lowell, but the outraging public indecency charge was upgraded and now reads, ‘outraging public indecency with fellatio on a cow.’
