Justin Bieber’s plane heading to New Jersey for the Super Bowl was reportedly stopped at a New Jersey airport under suspicion that it was carrying marijuana.
According to The New York Post, Bieber’s chartered jet – arriving from Toronto where he was recently charged with criminal assault – was held after it touched down at Teterboro Airport at around 3 pm on Friday afternoon. Law enforcement sources said authorities detected a strong odor of pot emanating from the plane and grounded it so that drug-sniffing dogs can check out the interior.
It has not been confirmed whether Justin was in the plane at the time of the stop.
TMZ is now reporting that cops found no drugs in the plane.
