Chris Brown’s anger management issues has been traced to the fact that he was suffering from bipolar disorder II, severe insomnia and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder all along … this according to court docs.
On Friday, Brown’s legal crew submitted a progress report on the singer’s rehab program and the court was told that ‘Mr. Brown became aggressive and acted out physically due to his untreated mental health disorder, severe sleep deprivation, inappropriate self-medicating and untreated PTSD.’
The documents further state that Chris – who spent 90 and an extra 5 days in rehab – tested negative to weed and other unauthorized pills throughout. He was also commended by the probation officer and the rehab facility for his behavior, with the probation officer noting that ‘Mr. Brown’s attitude has been beyond exemplary in regard to his community service responsibilities.’
Despite all the positive results, the judge ordered Brown to spend two more months in the rehab facility, until his Washington DC assault trial is concluded. Only then will he determine whether to send him to jail for violating his probation in the Rihanna beating case.
The next progress hearing has been scheduled on April 23.
