Cops reportedly found approximately 50 bags of heroin in Philip Seymour Hoffman’s apartment in Manhattan, New York … which confirms the fact that the actor had completely fallen out of the wagon before his death.
According to several reports, cops initially put the number of heroin bags to 10 until Monday, when it was discovered that the number was way more than that. In addition, some of the bags are unopened and there were still unused needles.
According to a report by FOX 411, a witness told police that he saw who looked like the Oscar winner withdrawing money from an ATM to pay two suspicious-looking men who were standing outside his apartment on Saturday night. Cops are now investigating if the exchange was indeed a drug deal.
As ENTmania! reported, Hoffman was found dead in his apartment on Sunday with a needle still in his arm.
He was 46.
