Police in New York has arrested four people – three men and one woman – in connection with the investigation triggered by Philip Seymour Hoffman’s death by apparent overdose on Sunday.
According to law enforcement sources, cops conducted a raid in three units located at a building on Mott street, Manhattan on Tuesday night.
The raid ended with the arrest of four people after more than 350 glassine baggies of heroin was found in an apartment. Dozens of such bags had uncommon markings – the same as some of the baggies found in Hoffman’s house.
TMZ reports that one of the men arrested is Robert Vineberg … who has played sax for the likes of Mick Jagger, Wyclef, Amy Winehouse, Tom Jones and David Bowie.
