Selena Gomez checked herself in for what her rep called a 2-week rehab program last month … but now a report claims she actually cut the program short to attend a movie festival and never came back.
As ENTmania! reported yesterday, Gomez signed into the Meadows rehab program called DAWN on January 5 to deal with problems that sources say were caused by exposure to marijuana, alcohol, prescription drug Ambien and her ‘unhealthy’ association with Justin Bieber.
Now according to TMZ, Selena was supposed to attend the program for 6 weeks … but she cut it short after only two weeks to promote her new movie Rudderless at the Sundance Film festival.
Sources reportedly from the facility say that Gomez promised to return to the program after the festival … but she later decided that she doesn’t really need rehab because she successfully completed the toughest week – dubbed the Survivor week by the facility – and so everything is fine.
The facility says one must complete the program because doing so is essential for the patient’s full recovery. But you know some patients and how they seldom follow doctors’ advice to the letter … until the condition worsens.
