A pastor of a church in Virginia encourages his congregation to get rid of their clothes in church during service because Jesus was born naked.
Pastor Allen of the White Tail Chapel in Ivor believes that the dressing requirements of other churches are ‘pretentious’ and unnecessary.
‘When [Jesus] was born he was naked, when he was crucified he was naked and when he arose he left his clothes in the tomb and he was naked,’ he argued. ‘If God made us that way, how can that be wrong.’
According to CBS 12, Pastor Allen is all about baring his soul to Christ – and leading his flock ‘down that path of righteousness, no matter what they have on.’
