Drake is ‘disgusted’ because Rolling Stone magazine gave his planned cover to the late Philip Seymour Hoffman ‘at the last minute.’
The rapper took to Twitter on Thursday to complain about how the magazine published his comment on Kanye West’s album … but quickly changed the subject to his magazine cover loss to the late actor.
‘They also took my cover from me last minute and ran the issue,’ Drake tweeted on Thursday, before quickly adding, ‘RIP to Phillip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil.’
According to TMZ, Drake felt he was ‘tricked’ because ‘he only did the interview if he was going to be on the cover’ … and now the rapper says he’s ‘done doing interviews for magazines.’
Rolling Stone has since replied to Drake’s outburst, saying that the rapper was told in advance that he will be dropped from the cover because of Hoffman, adding that it is the usual tradition when famous actors and musicians die.
Drake has since deleted the tweets.
