Justin Bieber wants to leave Calabasas to settle in Atlanta … but his soon-to-be neighbors don’t want him – and have already started an online protest.
According to several reports, Bieber is eyeing a $11 million house in the city’s affluent Buckhead neighborhood. He decided to live there in the wake of the numerous legal and neighbor problems he had while living in California.
But some members of the Buckhead Neighborhood Coalition have openly rejected the singer’s desire to move into their neighborhood … and have already scheduled a protest on Monday.
‘As a community here in Buckhead, we have worked hard to achieve our goals and get to where we are,’ the coalition wrote on the Facebook event it set up for the planned protest. ‘Justin Bieber’s relocation to Atlanta can be nothing but bad for our children, as well as the community.’
‘Some can’t even let their children play in the driveway without fear; he has raced vehicles under the influence, before,’ it continued. ‘What’s to say he won’t do it again? As a home owner down the street from this residence, one can assume many people will be contacting real estate agents soon enough.’
‘Please do not allow a child to ruin what we have worked so hard to obtain. Thanks for the support!’ it concluded.
Also included in the Facebook event are handmade placards (below) which read, ‘Keep Buckhead Bieber free!’ ‘#Justin Say No’ and ‘DUI much?’
Of course not every Buckhead neighbor is supporting the protest … but more than 200 people have indicated that they will participate.
