Comedy legend Harold Ramis has passed away. He was 69.
The actor/director died on Monday morning in his home in Chicago from complications of autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis (inflammation of blood vessels), which he had been battling since 2010.
Ramis is famous for his works such as Caddyshack, National Lampoon’s Vacation, Analyze This and Groundhog Day. He also starred in the Ghostbusters movies as well as in Stripes, As Good As It Gets, Knocked Up and a slew of others.
He is survived by his wife Erica, his sons Julian and Daniel, his daughter Violet, and two grandchildren.
