Mean Girls will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year, and a reunion is currently in the works, it has been reported.
Lindsay Lohan – the lead actress in the movie – spoke about the possible reunion during Thursday’s Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where she revealed that Tina Fey – who co-wrote and starred in the movie – recently told her that she was planning something like that with the whole cast.
‘She mentioned maybe doing some sort of reunion… She said she was talking to Lorne [Michaels]about it,’ she added.
Meanwhile, TMZ reports that the movie reunion has been in the works for the past month, and those already on board include the original cast members Amy Poehler (Regina’s mom), Jonathan Bennett (Aaron Samuels), Rajiv Surendra (Math team caption/MC), and Daniel Franzese (Damian).
It’s still unclear how the reunion will look like … it may end up being a comedy sketch or be featured in an awards show.
Anyhow, there is a Mean Girls reunion.
