Justin Bieber will be charged for egging his now-former neighbor’s house, but the case will probably not go to trial ‘cos the singer is open to a plea bargain, it has been reported.
According to TMZ,, Bieber’s lawyer Howard Weitzman has been contacted by the L.A District Attorney’s office, who is asking for a meeting to discuss a settlement to the damage caused by the eggs estimated at $20,000.
the discussion will reportedly center on the singer paying for the damage, plead no contest to misdemeanor vandalism and then he will be placed on an informal probation – no jail time.
Both parties have not met yet, but the site speculates that it will probably happen next week.
As ENTmania! previously reported, the Sheriff’s department wants Bieber to be charged with felony vandalism because he intentionally caused a lot of damage to somebody else’s property. But the D.A thinks the offense is not that serious enough to be considered a felony … saying a misdemeanor is more appropriate.
