Two weeks ago, a frustrated employee suddenly turned on his customer and beat him up after the latter failed to buy a shirt despite trying many of them on for two hours.
Manohar Thakur – a salesperson at a men’s clothing store in Connaught Place, Delhi, India – had been showing Sundar Sharma many different shirts he thought will be suitable for him. For over two hours, he tried to convince Sharma to buy a shirt … but the latter kept trying on shirt after shirt, before finally deciding that there was no shirt suitable for him.
This infuriated Thakur … who descended on the hard-to-please customer and beat him up … while at the same time still trying to convince him to buy a shirt, according to witnesses at the store.
‘I showed him all kinds of shirts in different colors and designs. He tried on 15 of them. He hogged the locker room for a couple of hours,’ Thakur said.
The fight was later broken up, and the store management apologized.
It’s unclear whether Thakur got fired for losing his temper.
