A 66-year old man who had a private massage in a Las Vegas hotel room ended up losing his expensive Rolex watch to the masseuse, who hid the stuff in her vagina.
According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, back in January Kenneth Herold met 25-year old Christina Lafave at a bar in the Wynn Hotel in Vegas. He later ended up paying her $300 for a private massage in his hotel room.
During the massage, Lafave told Herold to take off his $35,000 Rolex Presidential watch so she could massage his arms. He obliged, placing the watch on the ground within his view. But seven minutes later, the watch was nowhere to be found.
Herold, after accusing Lafave of theft then called police, who came and searched the whole room without finding anything. Later, she admitted taking the watch, telling police that she hid it in her vagina. She was then taken to University Medical Center where doctors took out the watch.
Lafave was then arrested for felony grand larceny and possession of stolen property, and released on $40,000 bail. But her lawyer, Chris Rasmussen says he will fight the case.
‘We intend to file a motion to suppress the medical intrusion. The search is an unreasonable search when medical providers have to use equipment to conduct an invasive procedure to remove what police believe is evidence,’ he said. ‘We believe he gave her the watch and later he tried to take it back when he wasn’t satisfied with her services. Like any person who works in these hotels, she believed she was going to be compensated for her massage.’
Lafave will appear in court on May 15 … and faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
