Justin Bieber will soon cop a ‘sweet’ plea deal in the Miami DUI case, it has been reported.
According to TMZ, prosecutors have agreed to drop the DUI, resisting arrest and driving without a license charges, if Bieber will plead no contest to reckless driving.
Also, prosecutors have decided not to subject the singer to random drug testing – which is very significant because he had rejected a previous deal offer over it. As ENTmania! previously reported, Bieber had said there was no way he would accept any deal that has drug testing largely because he has a serious weed and sizzurp problem and doesn’t want to admit it yet.
As sweet as the new plea deal is, Bieber is not completely out of the hot water: He will be placed on 1-year probation, which means he has to obey the law during that period or go the way of Chris Brown and/or Lindsay Lohan.
The plea deal is expected to be finalized in a few days.
