A 9-month old Pakistani baby was arrested, booked in jail and forced to appear in court on charges of conspiring to commit murder.
Little Muhammad Mosa Khan appeared in court with his grandfather charged with attempted murder, threatening police and obstructing police work by allegedly hurling stones at officers.
The bizarre incident began when police arrived at a family home to cut off the electricity because of an unpaid bill … only for all the family members to attack them by throwing stones at them.
One officer sustained head injuries and as a result all the family members were arrested – including the baby – and charged with attempted murder among others.
Muhammad’s fingerprint was taken and a lawyer assigned to him. but after the case went public, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif ordered an investigation into the child’s arrest, asking for ‘stern action’ against those who approved of the baby’s arrest.
